A Paul Update...

I can not believe with all our injuries Paul has not gotten hurt, as rough and tumble of a kid as he is. But he is not....praise God. The only slight not so much of an injury..was in the midst of the ripped-open-knee/broken nose/missed Ladies retreat was his cap fell off of his tooth..so we did have an emergency run to the dentist....other than he is good. He just keeps saying. I cant believe I am not hurt..its my turn. I say NO IT'S NOT!!!

Anyway...Paul is in Kindergarten this year and thinks he already knows everything. And I will admit he knows alot of stuff. He enjoys showing off his Math skills....all his addition and subtraction. And counting to 100 over and over again...he is my genius kid!!

His first year at co-op is an adjustment..he prefers to lay on the floor and take a rest most times when I pass thru. Fortunalty or unforthantley....his teachers know Paul..and quickly correct him and he moves on. He seems to forget that he is in a classroom setting.

He is taking:
Phonics Fun
Gym
Art
Storytime

Paul is known for his wonderful sayings that I have no idea where they come from...here are a few...
1. He walks into the kitchen the other day while I was mopping the floor and says, "This isnt even our home." I said, "What?". He said, "This world ...its not our own...we are just apassin by. Up there is our home."

2. Mommy, apparently the reason I am so bad all the time is because YOU never tell me all the right stuff to do.

Yes he said apparently...he uses huge words all the time. What a smarty....

A Camye update...

Camye is doing wonderful and is currently not injured. Althought there for a while I did tell her to sit on the couch and not to move a muscle. At the moment she says her ankle is hurting and I am pretending its not.

Camye is doing great in school and enjoying life. She loves her friends, writing letters, and writing stories about our puppies. She is currently begging for layers in her hair./?? She is starting to care about clothes. We recently attended a Secret Keeper Girl Live show and she was so grown up their with her friends. I am so proud of her.

At co-op she is taking...
Literature
Natural Disasters
Geology
Gym

A Blake update...

Blake is doing well. He did have major injury in October at hayride. That I will not put on my blog..they are already on Facebook so the world has seen them. He basically had his knee busted open and the bone was showing.........

....Umm...okay no mother should ever I MEAN EVER see their child's bone for any reason!!!!

Anyway, he was released from his doctor on Monday and was told to not participate in gym class for three more weeks. OOOPs....he has done gym and played in a parent/kid soccer game!! Sooo...the doctor said okay then..he is free to go!! Praise God this wasn't worse than first anticipated.

Blake is doing well with school. He played on the Homeschool Hornets Soccer team and well....they had fun!! Winning isnt everything is it. And we watched the high school team win it all!!

At co-op Blakes classes are:
Gym
Revolutionary War
Literature
Natural Disasters

An update on Chloe...

Yes I have a high schooler, it is so hard to believe and so unlike anything I would ever guessed to be. I LOVE HAVING A TEENAGE DAUGHTER!!! I will admit I was getting a little worried her 8th grade year. Things were not going smoothly..she was having an attitude. Not that she is perfect, but it is a real joy watching her grow into the young women she is becoming.

She is funny, beautiful and just lovely to be around. She is enjoying the independence she is getting with her school work, the parties and activites she is getting invited too.

At co-op she is taking:
English
Economics
Biology Lab
Young Girl After God's Own Heart

She is taking
Algebra 1
Spanish
Shakespeare
Missions
History
Biology

She played on the Homeschool Hornets soccer team this year. And they were undefeated for 2nd year in a row. Unfortunatly she had her nose broken in the second to last game but has had surgery and was released from her doctor today. Praise the Lord!!

AN UPDATE...

I am officially the worst blogger ever. I do have a good excuse though...I HATE DIAL UP!! I have become so spoiled with my Iphone that I dont really even ever sit down at the computer. It just takes so long...bleh bleh..I take my laptop to church and use their wireless to download pics. I havent even done that since school has started.

So I will do a few updates today...

First I will tell you about me..I have been running and running crazy with kids. Doctor appointments (more later), Soccer, Co-op, Church, and just life itself. I am so blessed to be living the life I want to live. I have been teaching the 3rd-4th graders on Sunday morning which as been such a blessing;those kids just love learning about God. On Wednesday nights, I am in the most wonderful Ladies Bible study and we are studying Esther. On Tuesday mornings, another ladies class is studying women of the bible. Can I say I am so blessed? To have this many bible studies and it is just so uplifting.

I am also teaching Revolutionary War to 6th-8th graders. That age is my favorite age to teach. They are so willing to learn.

I also teach the Teen Girls at our co-op. I have 10 girls that are absolutely amazing girls. We are studying the book A Young Girl after God's Own Heart. But I am teaching this for a full year so I am adding in all sort of books....
Raising Maidens of Virtue
Boy Meets Girl
I Kissed Dating Goodbye
Secret Diary Unlocked
Lies Young Women Believe
and the list truly goes on...

This class has really been such a blessing to me and to help me grow so much.
