Fourth's time a charm...

Four trips to Korea in three years... Here is what I have learned yet I feel like I have so much more to learn.

We have only been to Seoul. Looking back.. I really wish we could have gone to Avah's birth city Busan and Cade's birth city Daegu. But it will be special to see it with them someday when we travel again and they are older.

Travel
In 2011... We took the subway only.
In 2012... We took cabs and subway.
In 2014... We took mostly cabs, walked and a little subway.

To fully get a feel for where you are... I suggest walking around the blocks where your hotel is. Walking down each exciting, little hidden alley, explore. You will be shocked at the culture... Right there. In 2011 and 2012 we stayed in Gangnam seeing that is where our Korean agency is.
However in 2014.. We stayed at Fraser Suites in Insadong. Right in the center of Insadong. A very touristy place yet right in the center of some fun happenings. Street food surrounding us. Korean restaurants surrounding us. American restaurants surrounding us.

This is Daiso.. Koreas dollar store. This one is 5 floors.. In Insadong.
Looking down 5 flights.
Just your typical dollar store times 5 in the awesomeness department.

This particular Daiso is off this street.. But then again so is our hotel.. Insadong shopping... Outback. Lotteria.. Pizza Hut.. Burger King.. A gazillion Korean restaurants I can't read.:)

You can even get Placenta cream if you would like.
Starbucks on every corner but instead of supporting this establishment i recommend a local chain.. Ediya Coffe shop... Awesomeness.
Street food... My latest favorite. However the latest fad is waffles.. Waffles are everywhere. Waffles and chicken. Waffles and Ice cream. I have yet to find waffles and syrup.. Then I might buy.
The map with our hotel.. Awesome location.

A calm Saturday morning.. In which not much is open.

Our view.. From the 7th floor. There are 15 floors on this hotel.

Most awesome claw foot tub.

A terrible photo of an awesome violin display in the lobby.

We booked the 1 bedroom suite for $122... They upgraded us to the 3 bedroom suite. Which runs about $350 a night... Awesome!!!

Too many photos.. So part 2 coming up!
