Sew Much Fun: Spiderman Cape

I havent been able to blog as often as I would like, it seems the speed of summer is sweeping me away. This week is VBS, Kenny and I are in charge of Farmyard Fun and my advanced puppeteers are performing every night. I am not sure why I ever signed up for Puppets, I am a nervous wreck. Kenny's parents are coming today, we are sooo excited!!! They havent been here in 3 years so we want everything perfect, so lot of unfinished projects getting finished. My grandmother is in the hospital not doing well, so please say a prayer for her. I am so thankful for living closer to my family to be here when needed.

Anyway..here is a pic of my latest creation!! Paul found my 15 yards of spiderman material. I bought it probably 8 years ago for a $1 a yard..not sure what I would ever do with it. Paul decided a cape would be a good start!!!

NKOTB concert

Okay..yes Kenny and I went to the New Kids on the Block conert. That would be my 4th concert but my 1st one is 17 years!!!!!ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was alot of fun..I did remember the old songs but I only listen to a christian radio station so I didnt know any of the words to the new songs.

We did have pretty good seats....but in the middle of the concer all these body guards came back with a table and put it right beside Kenny!! Well my friend Danielle and I took Kennys spot and sure enough Jon Knight came out and sand on the table. Kenny's job was to video and Danielle's hubbys job was to take pics. It was alot of fun and would probably go again.

It was all very surreal!! We were the only ones without body guards in front of us!!!

My friend Danielle is a much larger fan than I am!! She was hilarious!!

Me and my lovebug!!!

The beachballs going around the crowd were a blast!!

Me and Danielle!!!! Going into the concert!!

We had such an awesome time!!!!!! We were very excited!!!

Chloe's Advanced Speech 1 and 2

Chloe is participating in Advanced Speech for Lads to Leaders. She will be giving 18 speeches(6 different speeches) before January. We actually have each one planned out, mostly for Ladies Bible Class. Her first 2 speeches were done at our Homeschool Art and Talent Night and our Heart and Home 4h club. She did so well. I can already see the public speaker coming out in here. I am so proud of her.

I am so thankful for this program. To recieve the high school diploma in PA from the state, you must give a 5 minute speech each year of high school. After doing Advanced Speech her 8th grade year, NO problem. I think I will have the rest of my kids do this program their 8th grade year as well to prepare for high school.

I liked the pic below..Camye to the left, Blake to the right, Chloe in the middle...:):)
